Richard Stephens was born and raised in Bolton, England, on July 12th 1976. The oldest of four, he attended St. Joseph's RC High School in Horwich before transferring to Thornleigh Salesian College to complete his education. After leaving school, Richard joined the Bolton Little Theatre and the Octagon Theatre as an Actor and learned the art from other method acting professionals. Working in a variety of jobs to earn a living, Richard kept with his ideals and ambitions of pursuing his acting dreams and appeared in many television commercials during the early nineties. In June of 1999, Richard completed his HND in Law at the University of Glamorgan before emigrating to Los Angeles where he married Kristina Guerrero. From the year 2000 onwards, Richard worked for Print Models Network in Universal City and Central Casting in Los Angeles as an Actor, working directly opposite many A-list stars including Vin Diesel, Laurence Fishburne, Samuel L. Jackson, and Ben Affleck during his professional experience of the film and television industry in the United States of America. A highly passionate and creative-minded professional, Richard draws on his personal experiences of life and his unique perspective of the world to fuel his storylines for some of the most unforgettable and award winning motion pictures. Richard is now developing two major feature films that are based on published novels that he has written. The first film stars Craig Fairbrass and other bankable Hollywood film professionals on the brutal and hugely controversial feature film "The Operative", directed by Award -winning director Stuart St Paul. The second film in development is a period fantasy horror called "MoonSphere" that is based in Whitby, Yorkshire, and is the directorial debut for Richard himself.
Attended the same school and was in the same year as BBC Radio 1 DJ and British TV Presenter Vernon Kay. He also knows Patrick McGuinness, writer and star of hit UK comedy series "Phoenix Nights" and "Max & Paddy's Road To Nowhere".Richard is friends with former Eastender and Hollywood screen icon Craig Fairbrass, British comedy legend Peter Kay - with whom he grew up with as a teenager, and several actors from the UK police drama series "The Bill" including Graham Cole, Christopher Fox and Doug Rao.
